But the people saying they'll be on clearance in a few months are probably right, except for Red Hulk. I am generally getting sick of seeing stuff I paid 25-50 dollars for on deep discounts not that long after I got them.
I think it really depends on how to movie does. These figures themselves look great. I'd love yo see comic figs of all these. And I'm happy to see some real improvements in the wing designs. Great for future figs. But almost all recent reveals seems to all be Deluxe grades. Best case scenario the movie is good AND the figures go on clearance. But at the point I'm not ready to gamble with another $50 pre-order.

You dont just snap your finger and go let me produce some more DP&W, and I am pretty sure your smart enough to know that.
This thread is about action figures not about your thoughts on an upcoming movie you haven't even seen yet. So lets keep it on topic.
Not to mention these were supposed to be released before d+wave and have been in storage since. Due to the movie being delayed to next year.

This is just indicative of Hasbro's overall problem. On one hand we have DP&W. One of Disney/Marvel's proven greatest successes and the highest grossing R movie of all times. Other hand we have Brave New World. Riddled with issues from go. Multiple reshoots. Multiple terrible test screenings. A terrible concept never even well recieved in the comics. Looking to be yet another Marvel flop.
Collectors and fans waiting, begging with baited breath for something, anything DP&W related and this this is what they lay on us. I know I know. I get it. Obligations and expectations and the lot. Blah blah blah. And yes it's an R movie versus a Family movie and it effects shelf space and visibility. Blah blah blah. But I think Hasbro is making a huge mistake. Good movies sell toys. Bad ones make pegwarmers. Simple. And while Hasbro has zero control on the production and quality a movie they bare the entire brunt when the toys they make don't sell. Personally I'll hold my opinion of the movie until I see it but this is not the right direction. And I know it's about to be said but yes I understand this is a smaller event and there's a few more smaller events coming and all that. But while this movie isn't even close to being released yet how many months of cooldown are they going to let pass before they capitalize on DP&W's success? Are they really going to hold out for the next SDCC? Seriously? Disney made tons of money on DP&W. 1.3 billion in theaters and now selling out on physical copies and streaming. How much of the pie did Hasbro get? Three figures? Maybe a boost for future DP products? Okay. Where the heck are they?
Something is wrong here. Someone in that company has get with the program. Is there any wonder more layoffs are looming for Hasbro? Not making light of that because I wouldn't wish it on anyone. But how many of the higher ups do you think really take any of that pain? Other than getting a few less 100K's on their Chrismas bonus. Just. Wow!

Also confirmed Hasbro will be at the Italy Lucca Comics and Games 2024 convention which is next weekend, so I guess a few more reveals then along with tomorrow at 1027.
And all three Marvel Legends figures revealed today will be up for pre-order next week on the 28th.
Nice we are getting some reveals after on another

Rektangular had mentioned 3 deluxes and then a wave for BNW. I wonder if the wave is still coming and what it'll look like. Wouldn't be surprised if it's just a comic Cap wave and these are the only movie figures we get cause frankly I can't really think of any other movie characters that would make sense in figure form. Though that may well change when I actually see the movie. But it's seeming like it'll be more like TWS which also didn't have a lot of toyetic characters.

Thanks to jays_toycollectionuk, you can now watch the entire Marvel Legends portion of the Hasbro MCM London Panel presentation.
Dwight was on the panel and the three new Marvel Legends figures they revealed during the panel are from the upcoming Marvel Legends Captain America: Brave New World movie.- Sam Wilson Captain America Deluxe Figure- Marvel's Falcon (Joaquin Torres) Deluxe Figure- Red Hulk (Harrison Ford) Deluxe FigureLook for these new figures to go up for pre-order at places like our sponsors BigBadToyStore.com and Entertainment Earth at 1pm ET on October 28.They also showed their Epic Heroes 4" figures for the kids based on the upcoming movie. They Showed some Titan Heroes Cap figures. Finally for kids who want to role-play they showed Cap's helmet and shield along with Red Hulk Fists. The kids products are due out by November 11.Dwight then teased he had listings for all the Marvel Legends products coming in 2025 and into 2026 on his computer. There was a little icon he pointed to but at least in the video it was two blurry to really make anything out. I think this was to suggest you can expect Marvel Legends to be staying with Hasbro at least through 2026.He also confirmed next weekend Hasbro will be at the Italy Lucca Comics and Games 2024 convention with some more reveals along with tomorrow's Hasbro Pulse 1027 Premium event.

Not the same wings, at least not entirely; the base and tip pieces might be the same, but the middle segment is now two pieces instead of one, so there's an extra hinge for further poseability.
